• A complete redesign of RSL’s annual Review – rebuilt from the ground up – transforming it from a traditional newsletter design into an elegant coffee table publication.

• I was given free rein to interpret the different editorials (themed around Britain, Freedom, Gatherings, Judgement, Legends, Living Archives and Translations) as I saw fit, and to source photography to illustrate as I desired. Other sections, such as News, Fellowship Awards, and Obituaries, were reworked to counterbalance the more expressive editorial content.

outcomes

• Re-invigorated the title as a leading channel of engagement for, and between, RSL members and Fellows.

• Worked with guest curator Vahni Anthony Capildeo (RSL Fellow), Catherine Riley (Head of Communications and Partnerships, RSL) and illustrator Karrie Fransman.
